I was briefed with coming up with different concepts for content for Archways to post on their social media platforms with a focus on Instagram which is where the band like to post content to interact with their audience.

This design was something I put together which was designed to be used as a potential template for the band to use on a regular basis to promote upcoming gigs they were doing.

I was asked by the band to help come up with some design concepts to use as teasers to be potentially put out on their Instagram to tease songs that will be coming out on their first EP as a band that'll be coming out in May 2023.

The idea was to do photo manipulations. I'd never done one before so I was very much learning as I went along and used the skills I already know on Photoshop to help me during the design process. The Client wanted me to experience and put my own stamp on the pieces.

For the photo design concepts, I was asked to go with an ambiguous concept that doesn't include any of the Archways band members in the image. Having a caption with song lyrics on each concept.

In regards to the design concepts, they were totally up to me. They didn't want anything too literal to reflect the song or the captions above. They'd rather the concept just capture the emotion of the song rather than anything else. They also wanted to keep the idea of mystery quite a lot as the band are working towards building what they call an Archways world.
